Blue Valley Ranch

Blue Valley Ranch is Conservation for Wildlife & Agriculture - Treble Red designed an environment that not only illustrates those purposes but, attempts to bring the user to this spectacular land in the Colorado mountains, without ever closing down Firefox.

ROLE
Treble Red spent several days with the leadership of Blue Valley Ranch on site, driving through back trails, walking through Aspen meadows, and observing the dozens of different species of wildlife occupying the land. Having never had a web site we lent our online experience to the planning behind the purpose of the web site. Not everyone will be able to visit this amazing place in person so we wanted to capture the various landscapes as true to life as possible within the web site.

REQUIREMENTS
Working closely with BVR's leadership we were able to gain a perspective of the focus and purpose behind the work being done. We needed to articulate clearly both the conservationalist efforts of BVR and the ranching segment, equally important.

We approached this challenge by offering both a minimilaistic feel with an expansive content structure. Users can go as far and detailed as they'd like. The EXPLORE section very clearly breaks down the various facets of the land, and details specific projects being actively worked on by BVR. The RANCHING section outlines the functions and processes of the agriculture sector.

Ultimately, BVR's site needed to be an expansive visual experience that captures the culture and climate of the land and the magnitutde of all the work being done there.

RESULT
The new site is clearly and effectively communicating both the vision and purpose of Blue Valley Ranch. The photography driving the major aesthetic of the new site will likely be downloaded by many to use as screensavers!
