Tommy John
Wow - this was a fun one. Men’s underwear. Yep… men’s underwear. I’m a man, I wear them, but have never had to design for them… The designer friends I did share this project with had a good laugh. But, the product Tommy John makes is no laugh - an undershirt that actually stays tucked in. Unfortunately, I was not born with a Brad Pitt physique - I’m not horrible, just not made for the everyday undershirt. They always come untucked. The guys at Tommy John sent me one and I wore it recently to the Political Advertising Awards in D.C. this last spring under my suit - it performed to every standard our branding effort said it would!. I didn’t try the underwear yet - maybe they’ll send me some.
